INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel [SOLVED]

This is one of the issues i had for several months, i couldn't find any specific information about it and never had time to trace it in order to find a solution. But today i managed to fix it by reading many threads and articles and then tracing it from the beginning , since i'm not the only one with this problem i decided to share it.

Hope it helps someone :)

It's nice when someone post a new message giving a solution instead of asking for one :-)

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me.

I can't modify my /etc/inittab file. When I try to, it tells me that the file isn't there. If I try to create a new one, it tells me that the file isn't there. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is.

(I meant to post this in a different thread where it is more applicable, but I'm unable to delete my own posts. Hehe)

What distru and command you're using?
