Debian LAMP switching kernel to 64bit

I'm still using 32bit kernel in my www server and I'm now about to upgrade to 64bit kernel in order to be able to upgrade to SSD host.

I was wondering has anyone had any problems other than what is recorded at the switching kernels documentation page: https://library.linode.com/switching-kernels

What are the problems concerning xtables, openscsi and java?

Has anyone done this upgrade smoothly with debian LAMP install?
