coreos, anyone tried it on Linode

So http://coreos.com looks like an interesting project, has anyone given it a try on a Linode yet?

I looked at it for a bit, but their docs were loopy and I couldn't find an actual doc for spinning up a new CoreOS system.

If you end up trying it out, I'd love to hear how you went about it.

Don't currently have an active Linode (moved most of my servers to a cheaper VPS provider as they were non-critical) but considering moving back.

Had problems getting coreos up and running at my current host, so was curious if anyone has done it successfully here.

I will say they are VERY active on IRC and super helpful. I just kept having issues, granted current VPS host is more of a traditional VPS and not the level of "cloud" access here. Seems the easiest way would be to use some form of PXE network boot (they recommended iPXE). Now if you all would just hurry up with the SSD Cache feature…main reason I haven't switched back…I'd miss the disk performance. They did put up a new doc page for getting it running using iPXE (due to our discussion).

Hi guys.

All can be found on GitHub
