Performance degraded since emergency reboot

I'm on newark630 and ever since an emergency reboot about 2.5 weeks ago the performance on that host is toast.

In particular, the steal cpu% is consistently high ever since the reboot and my VPS is noticeably slower.

Did anybody here experience something similar?

I tried contacting support but they couldn't really help aside from offering to move the VPS to a different host which I'd like to avoid cause of the downtime and service interruption.

There could be another VM on the same physical host doing enough work to affect yours. You should let support move it when you are comfortable with doing so. The answer to your question for me is yes it happened once and support moved it and it has been great.
