i develop my site with wordpress. but recently i frequently received disk to rate warnings. the access log of lampp told that some strange visits from strange IPs, they use GET request on wp-comments-post.php and made my comment list full of garbage !!!

i did few things this month, but my outgoing transfer even reached 44.7GB… i've got mad.

since i have stopped the web service of my host, the garbage arrives as soon as i restart web service.

Possible Suggestions

o Turn off comments until you find a solution.

o Find a (common) comment management tool

o Make sure you keep your WordPress up to date

o Make sure you hardened your WordPress Install (You should have already done this)

o Use Google to find answers to very very common issues.

akismet usually does a decent job of preventing spam, you'll probably want to look up some more wordpress anti-spam plugins

im sorry but, i do not only want a method to clean the spams, but to prevent these garbage robots requesting to my host, high influence at my cpu and memory.

You can somewhat mitigate it. I believe there's plugins like WP-Security that basically display an error once they've made a lot of invalid requests,

@bryantrv:

You can also try something like https://www.cloudflare.com.

Cloudflare is great. It gets rid of a lot of nasty traffic and makes your site faster.

Update everything, use cloudflare, and check for anti-spam plugins.
