What's causing constant gaps in network activity?
Even though there was no downtime, no crashes, and no network maintenance,
all of a sudden network activity would stop for 20-60 minutes.
Now that I have a 2nd linode in the same DC
I noticed that both linodes have the exact same behavior at the same moment

They are in the Newark DC, and no downtime was reported
This happens every couple of days.
Any ideas what's going on?
This is becoming so critical that I'm considering moving to another host.~~~~

~~If I were to guess it's a problem with their monitoring data collection rather than anything else.~~
Can't remember which VM it was but it cleared up without intervention ages ago.
You can always install your own munin to get the same data without holes.
