Shell script after startup

I'm running Centos 6.3. I have a shell script that I want too run, after the system starts. What directory can I drop the script into?

Never mind figured it out. I had to edit the /etc/rc.d/rc.local

You could use cron job (/etc/crontab) with @reboot if you just need to launch it.
