What Firefox version?
-Tim
@jebblue:
Same with Chrome Version 19.0.1084.56 and FF 13 on Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop.
It's working, or not working?
-Tim
@Ghan_04:
The forum posts box here is not working for me on any browser:
http://www.linode.com/community/
That's not related to the browser, and is something we'll be addressing shortly.
-Tim
FF 12 Fedora 15.

Sorry, not working.
@theckman:
Which version of Firefox are you running?
It's 1.5.0.8.
Another item: clickable images now have a rectangular border, as shown here.

To be clear, I don't expect Linode to put forth massive effort fixing phpBB3's display. Mainly curious to see if others are seeing the same thing.~~

Sorry, not working.
Could you post a screenshot illustrating the breakage?
@Azathoth:
Works fine for me, except the footer nav links (below phpbb copyright notice) are a bit off center to the left.
FF 12 Fedora 15.
That offset left exists on our footers elsewhere and is entirely normal.

:shock: That's a seven year old browser… I imagine you experience odd behavior on multiple sites running something that antiquated.
If you are experiencing issues rendering something, a screenshot would be most helpful.
-Tim~~
Considering what a notable attack vector browsers are, using Firefox 1.5.x, which hasn't had a security update in many years, is very irresponsible. The oldest version of Firefox that is still supported is v10.
The Smithsonian called, they'd like to know if they can have their 1990's computer exhibit back.

Glad to see everything is working.
I didn't make that last post ^^^ Are the Linode forums hacked now? What else is hacked?

Actually, not very many. But then again, I dislike the user experience of AJAX-heavy sites and avoid nearly all of them, so perhaps I am selecting out a lot of those which would display poorly.

In addition to the ones I posted? Or was this directed toward someone else?

Thank you for your remote analysis and judgment of my security posture based on a single scrap of information. I will be sure to file it in the appropriate place.

Sorry for the confusion. Was for those who mentioned they were experiencing issues without posting screenshots.

"I'm running a terribly out of date browser that hasn't seen security updates in years and makes me far more likely to get infected and be a danger to others" is a pretty significant scrap of information.

For whatever it's worth, I lost my avatar for some reason. Was empty when I logged in today. Uploaded a new one.

Part of the conversion from phpBB2 to phpBB3 - it can't be kept because of how things are different with the filesystem and database storage for avatars then and now.

Huh? My avatar stayed put with no user intervention thru the forum upgrade.
-Tim
Edit: As a side note, I'm not really sure why the upgrade tool was unable to actually move the avatars over. I was able to programmatically move them over.
Otherwise it's been mostly painless

Coz you got da skillz, innit.
