Setting the Hostname

Having problems setting my host name

i typed in

echo "plato" > /etc/hostname

enter

hostname -F /etc/hostname

enter

then nano -w /etc/default/dhcpcd

I think it brought me to a empty document

says new document at the bottom

Ahh nevermind i got it all working
