403 error after deployment

It seems you have bad user/group permissions on your document root. Your nginx should be able to read that directory.

Hi. thanks a lot. I dont really think that is the problem because I was able to see the welcome to nginx page initially before i changed the root to my rails app.

I just added an index file to the app/public/ dorectory and if u check now, it works :(
