OpenVPN not work for some sites

Hello, I am from china.

I just set up the OpenVPN, and the tunnel is connected well

Server client

Debian 6 Freebsd 9.0

10.8.0.1 <-> 10.8.0.6

and I also configured the IPFORWARD and IPTABLES according to the tutorial.

But I still can't access twitter.com or facebook.com which is forbidden in china.

Any help?

PS: I could connect wordpress.com and blogger.com which is prevented too.

On the Server side:

ping facebook.com success

traceroute facebook.com fail

You may use Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) on your client machines to avoid DNS poisoning.

my openvpn is same as your situation. It can connect the vpn server but can not vist facebook.com and twitter.com. I think it must be wrong with the DNS but I can not find the solution.

When you can't get to the site, what error do you see?

had the same issue, unfortunately i rebuild my linode now so i cant debug..
