The Planet nameservers down?

I made some reverse DNS changes about 9 hours ago and they still don't seem to have propagated. A quick search with the "Reverse DNS Lookup" tool at http://www.dnsstuff.com reveals the following result:

> How I am searching:

Asking f.root-servers.net for xx.xx.xx.xx.in-addr.arpa PTR record:

f.root-servers.net says to go to figwort.ARIN.NET. (zone: xx.in-addr.arpa.)

Asking figwort.ARIN.NET. for xx.xx.xx.xx.in-addr.arpa PTR record:

figwort.arin.net says to go to ns2.theplanet.com. (zone: xx.xx.xx.in-addr.arpa.)

Asking ns2.theplanet.com. for xx.xx.xx.xx.in-addr.arpa PTR record: Error: ns2.theplanet.com reports a SERVER FAILURE.

Answer:

An error occurred: Server ns2.theplanet.com is reporting a server failure (it is probably broken).

Would this be affecting the RDNS changes? The nameservers have been down for a bout 4 hours so far if I'm not doing something wrong here! Anyone else got problems?

Can't pull up dnsstuff.com but I don't seem to be having any issues.

Still on the phone with ThePlanet, but so far they fixed the first zone – turns out the file was owned by root (I'm guessing, as opposed to the user that their bind/named runs as).

Still working (waiting) on the second zone, so shouldn't be too long.

Ok, both reverse zones work. Same problem with the second one as the first.

Thanks!

The RDNS tool works great :)
