Auto complete file-/folder- name failure

Hi,

I have just set up a new Pantheon Mercury Profile for my Linode. I'm quite new to this stuff, but I have used this stack script before and it has worked fine.

Now suddenly the colorprompt does not seem to work and the auto complete folder name (by pressing tab key when writing commands) just insert a tab space. I have tried to uncomment the forcecolor_prompt in .bashrc but nothing happens.

Has something happened to the new pantheon script? Is there a new manual help section on linode.com for this..?

I see now that this stuff works fine with the root user.

And since I intended to let my user have sudo rights later on I created him using the stack script, but I see now that this becomes a real Super User and not just a user with sudo rights. That doesn't seem to good. I want him to be asked for password when using the sudo command…

(I'll just rebuild the Linode… )
