Boot CentOS 6.0 with kernel 3.0 64 bit (linode 20)

Hi,

is it safe too boot CentOS 6.0 with kernel 3.0 64 bit (linode 20) ?

ok, booted with this kernel.

now my Linode512 have 488MB memory available, good. :)

am I wrong or boot is way faster with kernel 3?
