Disable SFTP or chroot users

Is it possible to chroot users in SFTP without downloading a special version of sshd or opensshd? if not, how can i disable it so I can just use FTP? I am only looking for file transfer capabilities, no commands or anything.

Thanks in advanced.

if you're using debian or ubuntu check this out: http://library.linode.com/security/sftp-jails

Thanks, that works great! If there's any way to get to the real /srv/www/public_html folder though, it would be nice to allow that to some users who need it.
