LinuxFormat article on UML

Linode Staff

David Coulson recently made available an excellent article he wrote on UML for Linux Format magazine this past December. This was before the introduction of "skas" mode (the mode we run our Linodes), but otherwise it's up to date.

David runs the User Mode Linux community site and is a prominent contributor to the UML community.

For those of you interested in the mechanics of UML, here's David's post:

I obtained PDFs of an artile I wrote on User-mode Linux, so I thought

some people may want to take a look at it - It was written prior to the

skas implimentation, but other than that, it's reasonably up to date.

The PDF is a few pages long - I think you have to skip page two.

Thanks David!

This one also looks at User-mode Linux, but looks more closely at networking with UML rather than just getting it up and running.
