How to point subdomain to another domain's subfolder

Hi guys,

Let's say I want to point the subdomain http://mysite.anything.com/ to http://www.xyz.com/mysite, how to do that?

Thanks.

I believe your question is just a variation of this: http://forum.linode.com/viewtopic.php?t=6538

Thanks,

I want to point to external domain (different domain). Would that be any different?

So long as there is a webserver listening on the IP address for 'mysite.anything.com' to do the rewrite to 'http://www.xyz.com/mysite', it should work.
