Displaying current Linode resources (API confusion)?

I am looking for a method to display my current Linode Bandwidth/RAM/Diskspace levels in PHP. I had a look at the Linode API but it does not seem to provide a method to call these details.

I am aware of shell_exec() in PHP but I believe this has some major security implications.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm a big fan of munin, though it is perl. (Not that I care, plugins can be written in php, perl, bash or whatever. It does what you want out of the box without having to write your own plugins.)
