How to tell what is creating disk I/O?

Hi all. Every so often I see that I am getting massive disk I/O spikes. I'm not really sure what is creating this. Is there a way to see what is causing disk I/O, kind of like the ps aux command shows mem usage? I'm running a LAMP + Minecraft server +Seedbox. Here's a screenshot of the graphs.

iotop shows the programs that is causing the most I/O at the moment.

It usually doesn't come with the default images, so install it first, e.g. apt-get install iotop.

dude you are running seedbox = disk + network IO
