google apps without a domain name

I don't currently have a domain name, I simply use the xxx.members.linode.com to access my site for now.

Can I set up google apps and my linode to work in this set up for email routing?

You'll need to use a domain you own or control for this; anything under "linode.com" will not be usable for this purpose.
