phpmyadmin 403 Forbidden

Hi,

I had a single vhost configured on my linode and installed phpmyadmin to upload the sql file for this site (I migrated it from another hosting provider).

I've since configured a second vhost and went to upload the sql for this site. However, now that I've got the second vhost up…I'm getting a 403 forbidden error for phpmyadmin.

Anyone ever hit this before? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Tried looking at the access.log and error.log?

Yep…nothing out of the ordinary in logs…it shows the error but doesn't say what's causing it.

I wonder if I should change owner and group to www-data (Ubuntu) instead of root.

I'll give that a try and report back.

still no dice after doing a chgrp and a chown recursively on /usr/share/phpmyadmin

I guess I'll just remove it as I can do stuff from the cli but phpmyadmin is pretty nice for browsing things.

Just goes to show you Ubuntu has a lot of silly quirks…I've never had this problem on CentOS.
