Wildcard DNS

I want to have *.bar.foo.com to point to 1.1.1.1 and *.foo.com to point to 2.2.2.2

I can't seem to get it to work in the Linode DNS manager. Any tips? Or is it not possible since *.foo.com might catch everything including *.bar.foo.com?

In order to use sub-sub-domains, you'll need to delegate the sub-domain first. (Google it.) Not sure if this would play nice with wildcards, though.

So you want anything at foo.com to point to 1.1.1.1

Isn't bar.foo.com anything?

So how can you have that point someplace else?
