Weekly backup problem.

Hi all,

I'm experiencing a problem on the weekly backup slot.

I activated the service 9 days ago and my weekly backup slot are empty.

I contacted the helpdesk, they are really kind, fast and compentent as always, they are working on my ticket but my question is,

have you ever experienced a similar problem or it is only related to my linode?

Weeklies work fine for my Linodes. I read the ticket that you have open, and the last update makes sense – I'd say wait and see.

unfortunantly problem still there, I am curious to know if I'm the only one with this problem and if there are other person who subscribed this service right now.

this is the first time that linode support doesn't answer me in a day…

It seems that the problem I'm experiencing is bigger than what it seems.

8 days passed and no solution to the problem yet, this is the first ticket who needs so long to be resolved…

Not strange at all. Our previous update asked you to wait a few days until your weekly day past again. It did, and the problem remains. We're working on it.

A fix went out for this today. Weekly backups should work as designed from here on out (for those that were seeing the issue).
