Anyone experience the following during system boot? Error appears in syslog.

Ubuntu 8.04.3 OS

Kernel 2.6.32-x8664-linode11 and 2.6.31.5-x8664-linode9

"ebtulog: out of memory trying to call netlinkkernel_create"

this happened to me using ubuntu. i wasn't able to determine a fix on my own & nor could support. i ended up recovering my data w/ finnix and then switching to debian (as opposed to ubuntu, which tends to be more bleeding edge than debian proper), and haven't had a problem since.

The 2.6.30.5-x86_64-linode8 kernel produces the same error.

The error changes under kernel 2.6.18.8-x86_64-linode10 to

"ebtulog: not logging via ulog since somebody else already registered for PFBRIDGE"

I can confirm, I have this error message in my log running Debian 5.0 32Bit

I am on the Lowest Linode, so its possible the kernel is not "fully" compatible for a system w/ only 360MB memory. I may be wrong, but I was unable to find a solution while googleing.

Heres my boot log:
