As the title says, I'm using lighttpd + fcgi. When I do something in my Wordpress admin area (loading plugins), fcgi all of a sudden jumps up in memory, to over 50mb. I've never seen this happen before, what could be causing it?
50MB isn't much for all of your PHP processes to consume, why is this a problem?
If you're that tight on RAM, you might try reducing the number of PHP children.
