Postfix, SASL and mynetworks

I have a Postfix/Dovecot setup.

Now at the moment I have to include the IP address of anyone who wants to send mail in my main.cf under $mynetworks - I find this quite insecure and annoying.

Is there anyway I can bypass mynetworks and simply let everyone send mail through my server (who, obviously have an address).

If you need any of the config/logs let me know which ones.

EDIT: Whoops! My fault turns out I needed to specify a username for SMTP too!
