SSL, Ubuntu, Drupal, Secure Pages and Ubercart modules...

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else who may be running a Drupal site on their Linode is successfully using the "Secure Pages" module or "Ubercart"?

I have run into a problem that the Secure Pages module informs me I have not set up SSL on my Linode properly if i am unable to enable the module. I can if I disable 'clean urls' on the site, but apparently both are supposed to run.

I did set up SSL and as far as I could tell it is working. I have another virtual host running a phpMyAdmin site with SSL and it is functioning fine… but the Drupal site only works at the root page if 'clean urls' are enabled, anyother page throws a 404 error. If I disable clean urls, I can then enable the 'Secure Pages' module, then the various ssl pages work, but I can't seem to get both clean urls and secure pages enabled at the same time, its one or the other, but I have read that this is because the server is not configured properly. Problem is, there just isn't any docs as to what it is that is missing… I have set up SSL using the Linode wiki how to for it, and as I mention above, it all seemed to work, until that is, I started into configuring Ubercart… then I can to a screeching halt and have not been able to find a solution to this.

Web server specifics: Apache/2.2.9 (Ubuntu) PHP/5.2.6-2ubuntu4.1 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g

Thanks
