Linode saved me from having to tell my girlfriend why her website went away.

I managed to delete linode by mistake while an upgrade was in progress. Within two hours of posting a support ticket, Phil Paradis had restored the linode and everything is working fine.

Congrats….glad thing worked out for you, hopefully you are doing a full backup now and at least weekly backups from now on since I'm sure you learned from your mistake, correct?
