1. Install update-manager-core if it is not already installed:
sudo apt-get install update-manager-core
2. Launch the upgrade tool:
sudo do-release-upgrade

Hello,
I tryed this, but now, my system crashed and is unbootable.
I'll try Finnix to rescue it.
Went very smooth, my lamp server with ispconfig is as good as before. I'm a newbie and could not believe it worked
deploy 9.04 with everything i need;
copy the image to my original linode;
create a new profile for this image + /home + swap;
reboot with this new profile
