Lish isn't working and my support ticket has been waiting an hour, any ideas?

My server just suddenly stopped working. I was logged in fine one second and the next second i started getting bad password errors when i tried to ssh in.

I tried rebooting which didn't fix it, so I used the password reset tool in the linode backend. It says it worked but now the box shows it's running but is completely inaccessible.

When i try to use lish, i get this message:
Dependency failed for /dev/sdb

Any advice on how to get something working, or perhaps a response from the support team? Been waiting an hour, kinda need this up asap…

It may be that your Linode's disk became completely full, though that's just speculation without knowing more about the situation. To double check, you can log into Rescue Mode, chroot into your Linode's disk, and run the following command:

df -h

I'd also recommend running a filesystem check, to make sure everything's in order.

I've found your ticket on our end and I'll reply to it soon so we can look into this together.

mucho thanks, I will be back at a machine where i can check that in the next 20 mins if I don't see any ticket activity I will re-boot into rescue and try that.

Thanks again!

You're quite welcome! I've just replied to your ticket. Feel free to let me know if you need anything else.
