dhcp problem [SOLVED]

Hello,

Woke up today with no ssh access to my linode.

Using AJAX got in and after some research, found

out that my eth0 interface is not up!

After more research, found out that

ifconfig eth0 dhcp

gives me

dhcp: Host name lookup failure

Don't know to do now. Looks like dhcp is not recognizing me ?

What can I do ? Please help, this is my primary mail server, so

I get no mail!

update: well.. apparently "ifconfig eth0 dhcp" syntax is not good at all. But neverless - my eth0 is still down and not working…

update2: did this.. and now it works..
