My last VPS host nulled my 2 IPs and then later dropped me from a small DDoS (150-200MB/s) that came out of no where, so my question is, if I randomly get hit, does my firewall get a chance at it? I think what pissed me off the most was I spent a week configuring the server to be extremely secure, along with tweaking all settings for max performance, only for it to be rm -rf'd :/
