website not available
Our website is experiencing availability issues occasionally. The status on the dashboard is green/ running but website will not load.
We had to Reboot the host to bring the website back up.
Our website is static and public with a very low processing or memory requirements. Since this issue is intermittent, we are anxious to find the root cause for the issue.

I am not sure how to access the command line interface/ console to run these commands?
Can somebody help point me in the right direction

Checking the logs will definitely give you some insight, however, if you don't know how to do that you're stuck.
First you'll need to connect to your Linode via SSH. This section of our Get started with Compute Instances guide will give you instructions for connecting to your Linode.
Additionally, this video from our YouTube channel walks you through the process. While it has some other information that might not be relevant to you, it should help illustrate the connection aspect.
Once you are connected you can run those commands from the post linked in your question. Again, this video titled Learn How to Access and Read Linux Log Files For Information and Troubleshooting has more info on logs and troubleshooting.
