Disk Quotsa

This question dosent directly affect my linode but here goes…

I have a home box with a Fedora Core base system on it, I'm trying to set up disk quotas, but every tutorial I have followed crashes my box.

I have created a 3GB /home partition that I want to use quotas on, but I cant seem to get it to work, can anyone give me some guidence?
