Being nice on the Xen boxes

If I bump the process 'nice-ness' level up very high on a Xenode, say to 20, or make the priority very low, say 35 or so, does this free up some resources for other Xen users on that host?

If not, is there any way to make a process on my Xenode get out of everyone else's way?

James
