I attempted to replicate the issue you've encountered, but was unable to. To start, I created a Nanode in our Atlanta data center and followed our Deploy Ant Media Server Community Edition through the Linode Marketplace documentation for guidance.
Once I finished setting up my Ant Media Community server using only the default configurations and my Linode's IP address as the custom domain, I created the Linode. Once the Linode has been provisioned and has fully powered on, I've waited for the software installation to complete. Please keep in mind if the Linode is powered off or restarted before this time, the software installation will likely fail.
After waiting 5-10 minutes, I was able to confirm the installation was complete by accessing my Linode through SSH and seeing the following output:
*********************************************************
Akamai Connected Cloud Ant Media Server Marketplace App
App URL: https://XX-XXX-XX-XX.ip.linodeusercontent.com:5443
Credentials File: /home/$YourUser/.credentials
Documentation: https://www.linode.com/marketplace/apps/linode/antmedia/
*********************************************************
If you do not see that output after accessing your Linode, you can check if the application was installed correctly by running the command below:
grep -i 'installation complete' /var/log/stackscript.log
You should see the following output if it has been installed correctly:
grep -i 'installation complete' /var/log/stackscript.log
Installation Complete
Once I've confirmed that the application has been installed, I used the App URL to access the Ant's Media dashboard and was able to use the credentials that were provided to login successfully:
Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble accessing Ant Media Server dashboard, I recommend reviewing over our official Deploy Ant Media Server Community Edition through the Linode Marketplace to ensure that the application was installed correctly. If you're still having issues, I recommend reviewing this great community post that one of my colleague's wrote up on how to troubleshoot Marketplace Apps:
Lastly, you could just delete the Linode if it doesn't have any important data and start over.
