error when trying to install longview on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Yes, I know I could try to do this manually but it seems less than ideal that the instructions on the Longview dashboard page do not work.

curl -s https://lv.linode.com/xxxyyyzzz | sudo bash

While you're correct that you should be able to install this manually with help from instructions from previous posts, I understand your desire to be able to use the automatic feature that makes installation a bit easier.

It can take some time for updates to be made after new releases and I can't say how much time that might be. I've made sure your desire for this distro to be supported by Longview has been passed along and I hope it's something we can offer in the near future.
