Promotions
I just want to know, currently my account balance is $0, but I have a promotions tab where it says $100 (expire on 9/1).Can I use this?In the end of the month, will it deduct the $100 from promotions or charge my card for the bill?

When promotional credits are active on your account, they will automatically be applied towards your invoices until either the credits are depleted or expire (whichever comes first). Once you have fully used your credits or they have expired on September 1st, you will begin receiving charges to your default payment method.
Please be mindful that we do still charge for Linodes that are powered off but are not deleted. This is because even while powered off, the virtualization resources remain exclusively reserved for your immediate use and your data is actively preserved on your disk allocations. A simple comparison would be renting a storage locker - you are charged regardless of how you use it since no one else can utilize that locker while it is in your possession.
In order to stop accruing new charges on any service, that service will need to be fully deleted. After it has been deleted, you will still see that service on the following month's invoice since we bill in arrears.
