How do I create a testing environment ? By using the clone fuction?
I have one data server and one Web server. If I clone each of them, does that mean I can use it as a whole new environment and access through the new public IP.

If you decide to clone your servers, this process copies all disks and configuration profiles to a newly created server on your account. You could use that method to create an testing environment without altering your original data and web server. This slightly older Community Questions post has an example of how you can go about setting up a test environment using a manual snapshot.
