502 Bad Gateway after "Server has been booted by Lassie watchdog Service"
Hello
I have a server for some discord bots and some very simple python scripts and it's connected to a domain that I own. Today I got an email that said The server has been booted by Lassie watchdog Service.
Since then I've been getting a 502 bad gateway. I checked the nginx status and it shows as active (running).
I also restarted the server and nginx but it's still not working.
I'm not sure why the boot by Lassie was performed and if it has something to do with this issue.
Any help is appreciated

We have a few posts addressing Nginx 502 Bad Gateway errors. This one titled How can i fix a 502 bad gateway? has a pretty thorough answer. You'll definitely want to take a look at the log files.
It's important to note that, like the email you received said, Lassie will reboot your instance after an unexpected shutdown. This guide titled Recover from Unexpected Shutdowns with Lassie (Shutdown Watchdog) has more info on Lassie and troubleshooting what may have caused your Linode to shutdown.
