How do i upgrade ubuntu 21.04 to 22.04? I keep getting 404 errors

Hi, when i tried to upgrade from 21.04 using the inline method, it return that
"E: The repository 'http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu impish-security Release' no longer has a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default"

Is the Clean install method the only way to upgrade?

I tried to recreate this for you, but we no longer have 21.04 images available to test with. I was able to upgrade from other versions using our guide without making any changes. It looks like that may not be an option for 21.04, according to this Ubuntu forum.

After reading through that one and this one here it sounds like you need to update your sources list to look in the old-releases repository.

Once you've upgraded to 21.10, you may have trouble because the distro is EOL and upgrading from that version may be just as difficult as upgrading to that version. If that's the case, this answer on our Community Site explains how to update your sources list to update the system, which may be required to upgrade.

This is just a guess based on what I've read since I can't test it, but it doesn't sound like this is an easy upgrade if it does turn out to be possible.
