Is it safe to delete a linode after an IP Transfer?

Hello all!

There is linode "A" that had two IP addresses and I performed an IP Transfer to move one of the IP addresses to linode "B".

Is It safe to delete linode "A"? I mean, now that the IP address was transferred to "B", this transferred IP won't be deleted when I delete linode "A", right?

Regards,
Roberto

Personally, if you are transferring from an existing Linode to a new Linode and plan to delete the original one, I would make sure everything is working on the second server before deleting the first one. Once the IP has been transferred, it is in no way tied to the original Linode and will persist if the other Linode is deleted.

Otherwise, once you have confirmed that all necessary data has been saved/transferred and you no longer need the original Linode, you should be sure to delete it to stop accruing charges.
