What to do when a StackScript has no suitable images...?

I want to roll out a StackScript - this is a good example:
https://cloud.linode.com/stackscripts/348247

The stack script looks very popular and shows compatibility with Debian 9, however when choosing the image to push it on to, there are "No Results" when choosing the OS because Debian 9 is no longer available.

Is it best practice in this situation to ask the person that wrote that script to update it or is this a support request?

Thanks…

Unfortunately, the author of the script needs to make some updates to ensure it runs on a supported distribution. It appears that the user didn't include any copyright or license information in the script. If you'd like, you can try copying and pasting the script into your account and adapting it to work with a supported distribution, such as Debian 11. Just remember to give credit where it's due! :)
