Block Storage / cPanel

I have a Linode that is running our clients websites with cPanel. If I add a block storage option will cPanel automatically pickup the extra GB of storage space? Or do we have to do something for cPanel to recognize the new block storage?

I'm not familiar with working with cPanel, though their support forums are really helpful for things like this. I did a search for "cPanel mount block storage volume" and found this post that looks to have the specific commands and some gotchas included in the comments.
