is it usual that automatic backup is not creating actual backup ?
I have enabled automatic backup from last 6 months but actual backup was created 3 times. from the last 3 months backup was not performed. Really I need a backup of last day because my application got crashed and I need to restore it.

When Backups fail, we send out tickets to let customers know. Typically these issues resolve themselves and require no intervention. That said, if you get a few in a row, I'd recommend responding to one and asking that we look into it. If there is an ongoing problem, your response will ensure we get eyes on it as soon as possible.
While there are sometimes just minor issues on our end preventing the Backups from occurring, customers may also want to look into the limitations of our Backups Service if they are seeing repeated failures to make sure this is the right option for them. There are some troubleshooting steps you can take for some issues, like trying to limit the number of files being backed up. However, some of those limitations may suggest other methods should be used for Backing Up Your Data.
If our Backups Service is a good option for you, I'd still recommend that it's used as one part of a multi-tiered strategy used for backing up important data.
