Why did my IPv6 address change on my server?

Have you recently conducted a cross-data center migration? Linode's IP addresses are allocated by region so switching regions will assign new addresses to your Linode.
Have you configured your Linode to utilize DHCP for networking? If your Linode is configured to obtain its IPv6 address dynamically through DHCPv6, the address may change if the DHCPv6 server assigns a new address to the system.
Has your network configuration changed? If the network configuration within your Linode changes, such as the addition or removal of network interfaces, the IPv6 address may change.
The above recommendations are a great place to begin investigating this. If you're still uncertain, feel free to open a Support Ticket.
