How recover SSH password?
Hello everything is fine? Unfortunately we understand absolutely nothing about cloud platforms. The person who referred us to work with Linode and installed the server no longer works for our organization. We understand that cloud systems do not have a friendly interface, manageable by cPanel or FTP, is that right? We don't have the SSH password to start trying and maybe doing something completely wrong… We are completely lost here.
Support tickets were completely ignored by Linode customer service…

What SSH password are you trying to reset? If you're attempting to log in with the root account, you can reset your root password through the very friendly cloud interface, then log in with Lish.
If you have no idea what to do from there, I would recommend one of two options. Review the Linode guides and documentation to learn what you're doing with your server and how to manage it, or, pay someone knowledgeable to manage your server for you. I would personally recommend the first of these two options.
Usually, Linode support does take a while to respond to support tickets, but they aren't completely unresponsive. If you need immediate help from Linode, you can always call them. Linode also offers professional services and managed services though those might be more expensive than you'd want to pay.
