The documentation for the NS record has an error

The entry for NS (https://www.linode.com/docs/guides/dns-overview/#ns)

example.com NS ns1.linode.com.

has a . after com

I believe this is an error? Reporting in case others run into this. Thank you.

I've seen some DNS providers that require a final period and some that don't. I don't think it makes a difference here. In the docs in the link above there are lots of examples that have the dot and that don't.

I would think that if this was an issue it would have been raised long before now!!!

I'm sure someone from Linode will be here to explain it.

(Disclosure: I don't use Linode for DNS services… I use the domain's registry, so everything above is conjecture!!)
