Is it possible to delete TXT records?
I am trying to get Sendinblue working. I incorrectly entered a TXT record. I entered a second one with the right info. However, I'm concerned my verification is failing because of my original incorrect entry.
Is it possible to delete TXT records? Thank you.

There probably isn't any "big disadvantage"… I just like to keep my domain registration separate from my ISP. If I was to leave Linode tomorrow, all my DNS records would go away but my registration would stay intact.
Using your method, you have to change every single record with an IP address in it whenever your ISP (IP addresses) changes. I would start over with a clean slate.

Is it possible to delete TXT records?
Yes. However, the change is not instantaneous…Linode does DNS changes in batches like every 10 min or half-hour (I forget which). Once Linode makes its DNS changes, those changes take time to propagate around the world. The common wisdom is that it can take up to 48 hours. However, that time will very depending on where you are in the world and how "well-connected" your local ISP is.

Thank you. I mean from the UI :-). There seems no way to edit them. I am trying to get my hand on the workflow/process linode uses so your response is much appreciated.
You can scroll the TXT record section to the left (you may need to make your browser window full screen) to show a button with the label "• • •" for each TXT record. When you click that button, a menu pops up with the choices "Edit" and "Delete". Choosing "Delete" will delete the TXT record.
My previous comment about DNS propagation still applies.

Related question: Is there any 'big' advantage to having your nameserver functions done by Linode (for your domains hosted there) vs. at a commercial registry?
I've used PairDomains.com for 22 years as I like having all my domains and everything related to them in ONE place for convenience.
Maybe there is a 'speed' issue by keeping the nameservers in the same datacenter as the host?
