Static Ips
Hello Team,
We know that spinning up a linode - a static IP gets assigned to it. What if we power off and on - does the IP remains the same or does an ip gets assigned from the pool of available ips?
If the answer to the above is yes, Can we have elastic IPs just as in AWS? If yes, how can this be configured?
Thanks

As long as the Linode remains allocated (which means you're being billed for it), the IP address stays the same. Power on/off status is not applicable.

Dunno… I suspect the answer is no. You should ask support.
